How to participate

APPLICATION DEADLINES: May 12, 2020.
 
There are two ways of participation in the competition – online (in absentia) and in person (internal way).
1) Participation in absentia: Author or impresario should send copies or photos of art works: by email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.  
2) Internal participation: The author brings the artworks May 25, 2020 in St.Petersburg Art Exhibition Hall (Bolshaya Morskaya, 38 (Metro station "Gostinny Dvor" or "Nevskiy Prospect"). Internal competitors and competitors in absentia have the same rights at participating in the competition. The organizing committee exhibits the online artworks in the St.Petersburg Art Exhibition Hall.
All participants of the exhibition and contests are published in the international Catalogue "New Faces in Arts".
 
International Exhibition&Competition of Contemporary Arts "St.Petersburg Art Week" will take place in the Central Art Exhibition Hall of the St.Petersburg Union of Artists May 26-31, 2020 (Bolshaya Morskaya str. 38, St.Petersburg).

ENTRANCE DOCUMENTS:
Entrants will send the following documentation:
а) Application Form (download in Word, PDF);
b) Label for each artwork (download in Word, PDF); 
c) competitive works' photos;
d) author's and co-author's photos;
e) copy of the payment of the Participation Fee (see "Participation Fee").

INTERNATIONAL CATALOGUE:
All sent photos will be published in the annual international catalogue "New Faces in Arts". In this Catalogue you will find hundreds images of authors' artworks from more than 20 countries.

MASTER-CLASSESS:
During St.Petersburg Art Week there will be a lot of lectures, workshops and sightseeing program in St-Petersburg.
Professional competitors' categories
1) "Student" category: university, high school, college students and graduates (not more than 1 year ago)
2) "Amateur" category: The Amateur Category is open to all members of the public, but not Professional Artists. An amateur engages in arts, sculpture, crafts and graphic as a hobby or study of the profession and does not earn a viable income nor has a business set up in order to earn a majority of their income from arts.
3) "Professional" category: practitioners in arts, professors, organizations, graduates (more than 1 year ago)
Each one of the categories mentioned above is estimated separately.
